Who the controller is

The controller is Sravya, who runs Patente Quiz B in a personal capacity and can be reached at hello@patentequizb.com. The site is not a business and has no VAT number; if that changes, the full identifying details required by art. 13 of the Regulation and art. 7 of Legislative Decree 70/2003 will be added here.

The site is not run by the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport or by the Motorizzazione Civile. Questions about this notice go to the same address.

What data is processed today

Server logs. For each page requested the hosting service records the IP address, date and time, page address, response code and browser type. They are needed to serve pages and to protect the site against abuse and attacks. The legal basis is the controller's legitimate interest in the security and operation of the service (art. 6(1)(f) of the Regulation). The hosting provider and the retention period will be named here when the site is published.

Email messages. Anyone writing to the contact address shares their email address and the content of the message. That data is used only to reply and to handle the report, on the basis of the legitimate interest in following up the request (art. 6(1)(f)), and never for promotional mailings. Messages are deleted once the request is closed and there is no further need to keep them; the email provider will be named here before the site is published.

Nothing else. There are no forms, accounts, newsletters, comments, payments or advertising.

Quiz results stay on the device

Mock exam progress is saved in the browser's local storage (localStorage), on the device of the person taking the quiz. In the current version of the site it is never sent to a server and the operator cannot see it.

It stays stored until the reader deletes it by clearing the site's data in the browser settings.

Traffic statistics

As of 16 September 2026 the site uses no traffic analytics tool.

If one is chosen later, this notice and the cookie page will be updated before it is switched on, naming the provider, the data collected and the legal basis. If the tool needs consent under the Garante's guidelines, it will run only after the reader has given it.

Third party resources

Pages load no fonts, scripts, maps or images from other domains: the typefaces are served from the site's own domain. Links to official sources are ordinary links, followed only if the reader opens them.

Transfers outside the European Union

If the hosting or email provider processes logs or messages outside the European Economic Area, this section will name the country and the safeguard used (adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses) before the site is published.

Your rights

Articles 15 to 22 of the Regulation give, within their limits, the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability. Requests go to the address on the contact page and are answered within one month, extendable by two further months in the cases set out in art. 12(3).

Right to object. Because logs and messages are processed on the basis of legitimate interest, you may object at any time, on grounds relating to your particular situation (art. 21), by writing to the same address.

Anyone who believes the processing breaches the Regulation may lodge a complaint with the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (art. 77), including through garanteprivacy.it, or with the supervisory authority of the EU state where they habitually live or work.

Children

The site is aimed at people preparing for the category B theory test. It offers no service that needs a minor's consent and asks for no data to read pages or take quizzes.

Changes

Any change to this notice is published here with the new date at the foot of the page, before the change takes effect.
