Cookie policy

The site sets no profiling, analytics or third party cookies. It only uses the browser's local storage to remember quiz progress, a feature the reader asks for. That is why no consent banner appears today.

What the rule says

Article 122 of the Italian Personal Data Protection Code (Legislative Decree 196/2003) and the Garante's Guidelines on cookies and other tracking tools of 10 June 2021 (decision no. 231, Official Journal no. 163 of 9 July 2021) separate two groups.

Technical tools, needed to provide a service the user asked for, require no consent but must be described. All others, starting with profiling tools, may be used only after consent given by a positive action: scrolling the page is not enough.

The guidelines also cover tools other than cookies, such as the browser's local storage.

What this site uses

Cookies: none set by the site, as of 16 September 2026.

Browser local storage (localStorage), technical: keeps mock exam progress, the answers given and a few display preferences, such as practice mode. It stays on the device, is read by no server and is not used to recognise the reader. It stays stored until the reader deletes it. Because it serves only to provide the practice service requested, it counts as a technical tool and needs no consent.

Third party tools in the browser: none. The site embeds no videos, external maps, social buttons, advertising, analytics or error monitoring. Hosting and email providers are covered in the privacy policy.

How to delete stored data

Every major browser lets you delete a single site's data from its privacy settings. Doing so resets quiz progress; the rest of the site works as before.

If statistics are added later

The guidelines treat analytics tools as equivalent to technical cookies only under strict conditions: aggregate statistics for the site alone, a masked IP address or other measures that prevent identifying or singling out a user, and no combination with other data. A tool that does not meet all of them needs consent.

Before any tool is switched on, this page will be updated with the provider's name and the retention period. If consent is needed, a banner will appear with a reject control as visible as the accept control. It will not be shown again for six months, unless the processing changes significantly or it cannot be known whether a choice was already made.
